The 7 Best Books on Focus and Attention

There are two kinds of focus books: the ones that blame you and train you, and the ones that blame the attention economy and disarm it. You need one of each. This list covers both camps and says plainly which is which.

What is the best book to fix your focus?

Read Deep Work by Cal Newport if you want to train focus as a skill, and Stolen Focus by Johann Hari if you want to understand why it broke in the first place. Together they cover both the personal fix and the environmental cause in under 600 pages.
